I photographed this tree last Sunday in West Lampeter, added some contrast curves, a couple of b&w layers, a color layer, a texture layer, sharpened, vignette, and finally an overlay...

Gallery Thoughts

I have been wanting to show my work on a more consistent basis but keep coming back to the same struggle. I know I have a good "eye" but that is not enough for me. I enjoy portrait and wedding work but want to produce art. I can't draw, I can't paint, I am not a musician.....But I can compose images in my camera AND manipulate those images until I more or less achieve my desired results. I think I will begin dedicating a few more hours per week so I may get some fresh pieces completed, and then start shopping them around...
