Strasburg Railroad

This image has a lot of saturation out of the camera. It was shot a couple years ago using a Nikon D40 and I only regret that it was shot as a JPEG. Here I have removed some dust, added a desaturated softlite layer, and sharpened. Nothing else has been altered.

I tried some new techniques on this one. There are loads of presets available online for Lightroom and I started with one called "BW Beach". I then adjusted to my liking, cleaned and sharpened.

This one was shot over a year ago before I had a true understanding of light and motion. The image still works thanks to Sarah's pose and expression. Anyway, I added a desaturated softlite layer, sharpened and then added a vignette. I like it.
